Transfer & Posting Policy

Teacher transfers are governed by state policy guidelines to ensure fair, transparent, and efficient distribution of teaching staff across educational institutions.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Minimum 3 years of service at current posting
  • No pending disciplinary proceedings
  • Valid teaching credentials and certifications
  • Updated service book records
  • Satisfactory performance reports

Transfer Process

  1. Submit online application during the designated transfer window (typically June-July)
  2. Department review and verification of eligibility
  3. Preparation and publication of merit/seniority list
  4. Issuance of transfer orders by competent authority
  5. Joining at new station within 15 days of order issuance

Priority Categories

  • Medical Grounds: Supported by medical certificate from government hospital
  • Family Reasons: Spouse posting, dependent care, etc.
  • Administrative Requirements: Based on departmental needs
  • Mutual Transfer: Between two willing teachers of same cadre

Important Rules
